These stretched leather hides, stitched with twine to a metal frame, hold mystery and wisdom but also pain and struggle. It is a story about industrialization and control, exploitation and fear. It represents the dark secret selves that we try to hide. These are my masks, the delusions that I run from. They are alive but constrained. On view for close inspection.
