I get annoyed that I do it. I request they not bring presents because my child doesn't need anymore then I send them home with fun junk, as if they need it. My oldest shares a birthday party with her friend so I feel even more obligated to do it since it's not just me hosting the party. Glad to know someone else thinks it's dumb.
