existential angst of solomon

I just finished reading through Solomon’s Ecclessiasties. It was a very interesting read. There is so much existential angst, a curious ancient account of post modern writing on the void of meaning in the world.

I’m not really sure how to interpret it all. I mean I am used to reading this kind of stuff when it is coming from people like Camus or Sartre, but when it is Solomon of the Old Testament it seems to confound me. I would love to hear some educated conversation about this topic. Maybe I can look into it after I get done with the ten thousand others things on my list.
