Faith?                                              Art?

This week I have come back to the question of faith, Abraham, and the almost sacrifice of his son, Isaac. In my Romans class we have talked about chapter 4 which speaks specifically about the faith of Abraham. This brought out a very rich conversation about faith.

For those interested, look at verses 4:18-25. There is Paul’s explanation of the existential faith, a faith that is worked out through living life not a vacuous statement of beliefs.

Secondly art has become back to the forefront through a series of various posts by various authors: Suzanne, Jake, Tad.

For those interested, it is good to see Chrisitans struggling with the question of art. In the simple act of struggle we are at least attempting to get closer to something.
